The Shipwrecked

Personal piece for my IP, Nightfall.

The waters in the southern seas are treacherous and unpredictable. Strange currents sometimes appear out of nowhere, keeping captains on their toes for sudden changes in their paths, especially along the razor-sharp cliffs surrounding the reefs, where many a vessel has found their final resting place in the depths. These waterways serve as an excellent shortcut for travelling merchants, but it comes at a risk. To make matters worse, pirate ships often patrol these areas, but they too suffer from the consequences at times.

Many tales are written of these unfortunate sailors who lose their lives in this region, and about their souls not finding eternal rest, but instead rise up once more to haunt these cursed shores.
